If you’re looking for things to do with the kids this Easter, look no further than Fairfield Animal Centre. Visit us between Friday 29th March and Sunday 14th April 2024 and you’ll be able to take part in a variety of “Egg-citing” Easter activities!

Easter Egg Trail

Kids can have fun exploring the park and seeing the animals as they take part in our Easter Egg Trail. Follow the clues dotted around the park to spot letters on large eggs. Find them all to crack the secret word and win your treat! The trail will be running daily throughout the Easter holidays. £1 payable on the day at the ticket desk.

Animal Experiences

Looking for an opportunity to get up close to our animals? Animal petting sessions will be happening at various times throughout the day. We’ll also be running Alpaca and Goat walks on selected days throughout the Easter holidays.

Alpaca Walks – Enjoy this unique experience, where you can meet our alpacas and take them for a walk around our Animal Park. Our Animal Care team will be on hand to answer questions and tell you more about our alpacas. This activity is only suitable for children aged 5 years+.

Days: Tues, Thurs, Fri, Sun throughout the Easter Holidays.
Time: 11:30am (Session lasts 30 minutes).
Cost: £15 per person including entry to our Animal Park for the Day.

Goat Walks – Take our friendly, cheeky goats for a walk around our Animal Park in this fun activity. You’ll then get the chance to meet a keeper and ask questions about our charismatic goats. Tickets include entry to our Animal Park for the day. This activity is suitable for children aged 3+. 

Days: Mon, Wed, Fri, Sat throughout the Easter Holidays.
Time: 10:00am (Session lasts 30 minutes).
Cost: £15 per person including entry to our Animal Park for the Day.

Easter Egg Colouring Competition

For all of the budding artists out there, why not enter our annual Easter Egg Colouring Competition for your chance to win an Animal Park Family Day Pass. £1 per entry.

Pottery Painting

We’re very excited to be welcoming back our friends at Arty Kids who will be running drop-in pottery painting sessions every day of the Easter holidays between 10am-3:30pm. The Arty Kids team will be on hand to help and advise should you need it and aprons and washing facilities are available. All items are individually priced and will need to be paid for on the day. Please note, this activity is weather permitting and may not take place on days with adverse conditions.
