Taking on a Personal Challenge to Support Fairfield Animal Centre
We’re incredibly grateful to announce that one of our wonderful supporters, Sophie is taking on a personal challenge in 2026 to raise vital funds for our charity.
As she turns 50 this year, Sophie has set herself an ambitious physical challenge with the dual aim of improving her health and raising money for Fairfield Animal Centre.
The challenge will see her taking part in hiking, wild swimming and stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) in Wales, no small feat!
Sophie is undertaking this journey while living with ongoing health challenges, including Multiple Sclerosis issues from a hip fracture, which has led to osteoarthritis in her knee. Despite this, she is determined to push herself and raise as much money as possible to support our work.
Funds raised will help Fairfield Animal Centre continue supporting people and animals through education, care and meaningful opportunities.
If you would like to support Sophie’s challenge and help raise money for Fairfield Animal Centre, donations can be made via her JustGiving page.
Thank you for helping us support incredible people doing incredible things for our charity 💚
