Hope Nature Centre has re-opened their gates after nearly 4 months of closure due to lockdown. “It’s been an amazing first few weeks, and we’re massively grateful to everyone who has come along and supported us since our re-opening” said David Gillingham, Commercial Manager at Hope Nature Centre. The Animal Park re-opened on April 12th when restrictions were eased, and the Animal Park had a sell-out success for over 2 weeks, welcoming 1000’s of visitors through the gates to experience all the exciting new additions.
Alongside the completely re-modelled entrance area, visitors will also find a major expansion to the Adventure Play Area, new enclosures and much more. There have been some new additions to the Animal Park line-up too, including two adorable Wallabies called Bubble and Squeak. The Café is aiming to re-open on May 17th, which will see all the facilities fully re-opened. The Café has also received a refurbishment and expansion, with new toilets and additional seating.
To ensure social distancing and the adherence of COVID-19 rules, the Animal Park are operating at a limited capacity, so if you’re planning a visit, it is highly advisable to pre-book your tickets online.
