We’re excited to present Summer at Fairfield Animal Centre and this year, there’s more going on than ever! From themed animal encounters to family fun days, we’ve packed the season with events for visitors of all ages. You’ll find all the details of our special events below, so take a look and start planning your visit.
But even if you can’t make it to one of our special events, there’s still plenty to see and do at Fairfield throughout the summer. Come and explore the centre at your own pace, meet our animals, and enjoy a leisurely wander around the grounds. Don’t forget to stop by our onsite café too, where you’ll find a delicious selection of treats to refuel during your visit. And there’s more good news: thanks to the government-backed Great British Summer Savings campaign, tickets are available at a reduced price all season long.
Goat Yoga
Join us for a family-friendly class on selected dates through the summer while surrounded by our nine adorable pygmy goats. If you’re lucky, they may just use you as a climbing frame.
Ferret Meet & Greet
Meet Marley, Mika, Milo, Mocha and Moppet in a special summer meet and greet on selected dates throughout the school holidays!
Guinea Pig Fishing
Feed our guinea pigs in a hilarious new way on selected dates in the summer holidays.
Bug Hunt & Fishing
Little explorers and entomologists will love our bug hunt and build sessions on selected dates over the summer!
Summer Trail
Explore our animal park and see if you can find all the letters to crack the code on your worksheet. If you manage to complete the trail, you’ll get a delicious bag of sweets!
Summer Fun Day
Browse a variety of stalls, enjoy a mouth-watering BBQ (with veggie options) and meet our animal mascots, with plenty of opportunities for selfies and family photos.
Pick your own sunflowers
Brighten up your home with sunflowers from Fairfield Animal Centre! Visit our sunflower farm and create your very own cheerful bouquet to take home.
